Hahaha

Talk about a funny name... Sugarloaf.
We've updated the Hilltops page with ratings for Awatuhkee runs and we added maps to Mesa for the... ha... Sugarloaf... run as well as a run we call Red Mountain Ranch. Also the run we hit at Rustler's Rooste will be up by the end of today. We added the maps with the satellite feature turned on so you can see exactly the start points and the run since they don't coordinate with any roads.Just be careful when you reach the bottom! Sliding gloves are a must for this run.
In recent news, my wife is finally making me buy a helmet for longboarding (yay). So stay tuned to the blog to see how that turns out.

What A Night!

Talk about some crazy kids... Last night we met up with our buddy Ty to longboard some spots in Awatuhkee. We met up with some friends of his who knew of an area to longboard near the I-10. We ended up at a restaurant on a hill known as Rustlers Rooste (www.rustlersrooste.com) which features an insane drop from the restaurant and upper parking lot to the parking lot below. That still couldn't stop us from dropping it! A few people who knew the restaurant were even giving us pointers, saying longboarders are always dropping the hill. Check out our video on the Videos page. Afterwards we decided to stop on by the Awatuhkee main hill for one last run before our night was over.

Launch Party!

Our first post and we are glad you're celebrating it with us. But really, we're celebrating two things: 1. Arizona just turned 100 years old (which is pretty badass) 2. A website has been created to bring the best of Arizona's longboarding routes online. To celebrate, we're hitting up Las Sendas in Mesa Thursday night! Let the festivities begin! If you have a location you would like us to take a look at, just let us know. Over time we plan to compile the best hills the valley has to offer for amateurs and professionals alike.
